LGTM (Looks Good to Me)
LGTM. Looks good to me. I did not read a single line. 🙏 A hymn for the code review nobody reads: the Church of LGTM, where the tests are green and the approvals rain down.

What you see
A pull request as a cathedral. The diff scrolls past like scripture, snapping to the beat, and its red and green lines are leaded together into a stained-glass window with light pouring through it. A choir of reviewers sings under the window. The letters L, G, T, M come down one at a time, and an "LGTM" stamp (REVIEWED · APPROVED · 0 LINES READ) falls on the code again and again while an approval counter climbs to 111.
The verses are the liturgy: in the first, a CI chip goes green and a blame chip rides the line that says "temporary, remove later" (fourteen months ago). The chorus opens the review dialog and presses Approve, then Submit. Verse two is the sacred trade: two pull-request cards, two engineers, arcs of reviews going back and forth, neither reading the other's. The bridge zooms all the way in on one nit, a comment on a variable name on line four hundred, with a heart on it. The outro is the merge button.
Files
| File | Lines | What it draws |
|---|---|---|
lgtm.py | 1,008 | The whole video, frame by frame: the scrolling diff, the stained-glass window and its rays, the choir, the stamp rain and the approval counter, the big letters, the captions, the review dialog, the PR cards, the nit zoom, the merge button. LGTM_V=1 switches it to the 9:16 layout. |
doc.py | 203 | Writes the pull request itself: the files, hunks and added/removed lines that the diff and the window are built from. |
thumb.py | 19 | The YouTube thumbnail, from the video's own artwork. |
sheet.py | 8 | A 2×2 contact sheet of 16:9 stills, for review. |
vsheet.py | 8 | A contact sheet of 9:16 stills. |
By the numbers

Chorus
LGTM
Looks good to me
I did not read a single line
Verse
There's a change in the auth and a change in the schema
There's a comment that says temporary, remove later
And later was fourteen months ago
But the tests are green so away we do go
Verse
He'll review mine on Thursday, same as I did his
And neither of us knows what the other one is
It's a covenant, a promise, a sacred trade
Two engineers and the mess we made
Bridge
One nit
I left one nit
A variable name on line four hundred
So he knows that I was there
So he knows that I care
Chorus
LGTM
Looks good to me
I did not read a single line
